Junction Campground is a small basic campground that lies off of Highway 120 near the top of Lee Vining Creek Canyon.

The campground has 12 spaces, each spaciously spread apart. There is no water at the campground, and no electric hook ups. There are also no reservations, meaning that the campground is first come, first serve, and is frequently full during the tourist season.

A camp host is onsite, and typically has bundles of firewood for sale.

A couple vault toilets serve the campground.

Junction Campground may be one of the more scenic campgrounds in the area, perched on a bit of a plateau that offers views of neighboring peaks such as Mount Dana and Tioga Peak. A small stream runs alongside the camp, and some of the further sites benefit with the sound of the creek streaming by.

The trailhead for the  Bennettville Ghost Town hike lies right next to the campground's info board and pay station, giving campers a nice nearby destination to hike out of camp to.
