East Fork Campground is a large campground located along beautiful Rock Creek. The stunning location is of course a great reason to camp here, but there are plentiful recreational opportunities nearby as well. Rock Creek is a great place to fish for brook, brown and rainbow trout, and a hiking trail leads alongside the creek from the campground to Rock Creek Lake. Further hiking trails lead deep into the John Muir Wilderness and the majestic high peaks and alpine lakes of the Sierra Nevada.

The campground itself consists of 133 individual campsites. There are four loops of campsites, some offering more shade and privacy than others. A handful of sites are also along the banks of Rock Creek.

Each campsite has a picnic table, fire ring and bear locker for safe food storage. No hookups are available. There are flush toilets and potable water located throughout the campground.

East Fork is open seasonally, usually June through September, but dates can vary depending on the year. Reservations are available by clicking here.
