Aerie Crag Campground is an RV-only campground with 10 spots near the northern end of the June Lake Loop.

Otherwise a Day Use area, Aerie Crag sits on Rush Creek between Grant Lake and Silver Lake. When other campgrounds in the area fill up - which occurs during peak summer season - Aerie Crag opens to RV camping. The campground itself is an old stretch of the road, now bypassed by 158's current route. It has an access point in the center, with turnarounds on either side. RVs can pull up and park along the shoulder in marked spots. Sites have a table, and two vault bathrooms serve the camping area - there are no RV hookups of any kind here.

There is no water at the campground, and no fires are permitted. No tents are permitted. Campers are responsible for self-paying at the pay station.

There are a couple trails down to Rush Creek from the center of the area.

The campground closes following the busy tourism season, and June Lake Loop often closes following heavy snow conditions.
