The 48-mile point-to-point journey from Santiam Pass to Olallie Lake, along the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), offers an unforgettable backpacking experience. Starting at Highway 20 (Santiam Pass) and concluding at the Olallie Lake Resort, this route traverses the Cascade crest through the stunning Mount Jefferson Wilderness. These areas are complemented by varied forests, including fir, hemlock, and cedar, as well as meadows that bloom with seasonal wildflowers, especially during the spring and summer months.
