Pacific Crest Trail: Oregon Section C is a 73.1-mile point-to-point section of the 2,650-mile Pacific Crest Trail. This section of the trail extends from Highway 140 north to Highway 138 (near Cascade Crest) and runs through the Sky Lakes Wilderness and Crater Lake National Park. This is a moderately-rated, multi-purpose trail that is open to runners, hikers, backpackers, and horseback riders.

This section starts with a 4 mile climb into Sky Lakes Wilderness, a land of beautiful subalpine lakes, peaceful meadows, and lush pine forests. In the northern half of this section, the wilderness boundary ends at the border of Crater Lake National Park. While traversing the PCT in Crater Lake National Park, visitors will enjoy scenic views of the mountains surrounding the lake. For hikers who wish to explore the unique volcanic landscape of the area and get closer to the lake's rim, an alternate route is available.
