Located in Willamette National Forest, Maiden Peak Shelter is a small wooden cabin that is open to the public for camping. Just east of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), it's located at an elevation of 6,000 feet on the west side of Maiden Peak. Dedicated volunteers from a local ski club take great care of the wooden shelter, keeping it clean and well maintained.

The shelter is fully enclosed and equipped with benches, tables, solar lights, and a wood stove. It offers shelter for backcountry skiers in the winter and may be visited by hikers in the summer. Overnight accommodations are available for 15 people.

The Maiden Peak Shelter is one of several backcountry shelters in the Willamette National Forest. For more information (and to view the complete list) please visit the website for Willamette National Forest

Please read through the Maiden Peak Shelter regulations and information website before visiting.
