Drake Park is one of Bend’s most popular riverfront parks, due largely to its location near the central downtown area. This 13 acre park offers nearly a half mile of riverfront access, including the beautiful Mirror Pond section of the Deschutes River.

Drake Park is located off Northwest Riverside Boulevard, with plenty of street parking available. Paved walking/biking trails circle throughout the park, but connectivity to other trails outside the park is a bit lacking (although this may change due to a current construction project to extend the Deschutes River Trail).

The park is host to many events throughout the warmer months, and there is an outdoor stage located here. Of course there are many picnic tables scattered throughout the park, as well as lots of grassy space to relax or recreate.

The main attraction at Drake Park is the river. This beautiful section of the Deschutes is known as Mirror Pond. This wide and scenic section of river was created because of Pacific Power's Bend Hydro Dam.

A footbridge leads across Mirror Pond to Harmon Park, and offers stellar views.
