The campground in Cascadia State Park is a smaller first-come, first-served facility with sites along a small creek that are shaded in lush forests of Douglas fir, hemlock and cedar trees. The 24 simple sites are perfect for tents. Two of those are pull-through and can accommodate small RVs. Sites include picnic tables and fire pits. Most are well shaded and have some space and/or shrubs between them for privacy. Restrooms are located in the middle of the campground.

Two large group sites are located away from the main campground and closer to the river and day use picnic areas. Reservations for these sites can be made online. Each group site has a limit of 25 people (two RVs and six vehicles). Vault toilets are located near the parking area for the sites.

Soda Creek Falls is just a short hike from the campground and is a great place to explore. Other nearby adventures in Cascadia State Park include hiking trails along the South Santiam River and out to Cascadia Cave, swimming holes for places to cool off on a hot summer day, and day use picnic areas with large fields for gatherings and games.

The campground is open seasonally, usually May through October. Be sure to check with Oregon State Parks for exact openings.
