Grand Falls has the title of the largest continually flowing waterfall in the state of Missouri.

At over 160 feet wide, the waters of Shoal Creek plunge into a wide misty pool below, where visitors can often be seen swimming, fishing, or just laying out on the rocky shore.

At a short drive from the town of Joplin, you'll often notice the waterfall's location by the large number of cars parked on the rock and along the shoulder of the road when approaching. The area is very popular and can get extremely busy, though there is plenty of space, especially if you're willing to walk a short distance away from the falls.

Aside from trash cans, there are no amenities of any kind here. The waterfall area is open from 7am to 11pm daily.
