There are four cabins available for rent at the Tettegouche Camp which is located in the interior of Tettegouche State Park. The cabins are near Mic Mac Lake, in fact one of the cabins is about ten feet away from the shore. There is no vehicle access to these cabins. It is a 3.5-mile hike from the main park trailhead, or a hillier 1.7-mile hike from the Lax Lake Road parking area. All gear must be carried in, there are no carts provided.
The four rustic cabins share a shower/bathroom building. The cabins do not have running water; water can be obtained from the shower building or from a hand pump. The four cabins are available for use year-round. Each cabin has a woodstove, two-burner cooktop, mini refrigerator, pots, pans, plates, and utensils. There is a picnic table and fire ring with grill near each cabin. Firewood is provided to guests. There is a canoe that is available for use on Mic Mac Lake.
One of the cabins can accommodate two people, while the other three can accommodate up to six people with rates starting at $155 plus tax per night as of 2023. Pets are not allowed in the cabins.
