The Bluejacket Walking Path is an easy and accessible 1-mile trail that winds through, and around, Bluejacket Park, a 10-acre, family-friendly neighborhood park located in Overland Park, Kansas. The trail is paved, mostly flat, and easily accessible. There are tall oak trees that line the trail and surround the grassy green spaces. In addition to being a great place for a quiet walk or stroll with the family, this is also a popular place for dog walkers (dogs must be on a leash).
Since the path encircles and intersects the park, there are many ways to access it and the route can be easily altered to suit your needs.
In addition to the peaceful path, the park features a drinking fountain, playground, small swing set, tennis courts, benches, picnic tables, and a pool. It has a large parking area for cars, as well as a bike rack (you must provide your own lock).
