Winter Park Village Pond Skating

For anyone looking to ice skate after a day on the slopes at Winter Park, look no further than the Village Pond. This small frozen pond is the perfect place to enjoy a (free!) skating session.

The skating area is easily accessible in the heart of the Winter Park Village. There are numerous shops and eateries nearby, as well as resort lodging.

The rink is free to use if you have your own ice skates. Rentals are available but a bit on the pricey side - $19 per hour at time of writing.

One especially popular event is called Cosmic Skating at the Village Pond. On Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 5pm-7pm guests can enjoy skating under the twinkling lights with a DJ playing music.
