Colorado Trail: Segment 15 is a 14.5-mile point-to-point segment of the Colorado Trail that runs from US Highway 50 to Marshall Pass Trailhead. From here the trail levels out and then descends for the remaining miles.
This section is also part of the Monarch Crest Trail, a popular mountain biking route. Hikers should look out for fast-moving mountain bikes and motorcycles, which are allowed on some parts of the trail.
