Oak Springs Trail: The trail starts with a steady incline, winding through chaparral-covered hills with expansive views of Big Tujunga Canyon. As you ascend, occasional oak groves provide shade, offering a brief respite from the sun.

Climbing the Ridgelines: The trail transitions to rugged ridgelines, with steeper climbs and narrower paths. These sections reward hikers with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys, including glimpses of Mount McKinley.

Final Ascent to Mount McKinley: The last push to the summit involves steeper grades and rocky terrain. At the summit, take in breathtaking 360-degree views of the San Gabriel Mountains and Big Tujunga Canyon. On clear days, you may even spot the Mojave Desert in the distance.
