Medea Creek Trail is a 4.3-mile out and back trail through Medea Creek Park. The trail is a short and easy stroll through oak woodland, shade trees, and California chaparral. 

Medea Creek Natural Park is a family-friendly park and natural area located in Oak Park, a residential neighborhood near Agoura Hills, California. This park runs along Medea Creek and is managed by Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District. This trail attracts runners, hikers, walkers, and nature lovers of all ages and athletic abilities.

The Medea Creek Trail is a multi-use trail that crosses various terrains including paved, gravel, and dirt. There are plenty of opportunities for nature viewing and bird watching along the trail, particularly near the creek. 

This trail is accessible from many locations throughout the park, which allows you to modify the distance and customize the route to meet your individual needs.

POTENTIAL HAZARDS

Be aware of rattlesnakes, ticks, and poison oak. There are also portions of the trail that are exposed and lack shade, so proper sun protection is recommended.
