Montezuma Pass is a scenic overlook, trailhead, and visitor center located two hours south of Tucson, Arizona. It features a large parking area, bathroom facilities, and scenic overlooks with information kiosks to describe the history and the landscape. This area has covered picnic tables and hiking trails, including the Arizona National Scenic Trail. The area features sweeping views of mountains, grasslands, and valleys and overlooks the San Rafael Valley, San Pedro River, Sonora, and Mexico. It provides a nice picnic space and hiking opportunities suitable for families. This area is accessible and beautiful year round.
