To celebrate an awesome summer of adventures and get everyone excited for the upcoming winter adventure season, we held a party at Base Camp Brewing Company on Sunday, November 17. It was an entertaining event attended by over 150 friends, fans, and Outdoor Project community members.

Another important goal for Outdoor Project this summer was to build partnerships with non-profit organizations focused on outdoor conservation and education. The party was a great way to share with our members the great work being done in these fields. As a business, we want to do more than help people find great places to go for outdoor adventures, and we created OutdoorProject.org to raise funds and build awareness toward this goal. A raffle benefiting our partners, Oregon Wild, Friends of Outdoor School, World Salmon Council, and Westwind Stewardship Group, raised $720 to go toward their efforts, and we hope everyone at the party gained a better understanding of the critical work these organizations do. Raffle prizes were generously donated by US Outdoor Store, Base Camp Brewing Company, Westwind, Friends of Outdoor School, World Salmon Council, Icebreaker, and we threw in a few prizes too.
From all of us at Outdoor Project, we hope everyone has an exciting, inspiring, and safe winter full of time spent in the outdoors. Remember to read our blog and follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates and ideas on where to go this winter. Happy adventures!
