Under the shadow of Cheam Peak (2,104 meters) and Mount Archibald (1,730 meters) in the Fraser Valley, Bridal Veil Falls descends 60 meters at the bottom of the mountains over a craggy rock face, creating one of British Columbia's most iconic waterfalls.

Bridal Veil Falls is conveniently located alongside the Trans-Canada Highway between Chilliwack and Hope, making it an extremely popular stop amongst locals and tourists alike. From the 32-hectare park's parking and picnic area, a short 0.3-mile trail gradually winds its way uphill through a dense old-growth forest to the observation area.

According to B.C. Parks, "prior to the park attaining Provincial Park status in 1965, Bridal Veil Falls was used to generate electricity in the early 1900s for the Bridal Falls Chalet. Today, only traces of the concrete foundation for the power generator can be found."

Note: The waterfall's observation area (marked by a wooden fence) has been intentionally located a safe distance from the falls. Winter ice formations peel off the waterfall and falling rock is common during the warmer months.
