Escalante Outfitters Camping

Escalante Outfitters is a one stop destination that covers all your outdoor needs. The outfitter offers a small but well stocked store with outdoor gear, a restaurant with everything from fresh baked pastries and coffee in the morning, to delicious pizza and drinks in the evening, and of course a campground with tent sites and cabins.

The campground offers tent sites with elevated tent pads. The setting is nice, although some of the sites are fairly close together. Tent campers can also take advantage of the covered picnic pavilion area, outdoor fire-pit, bathhouse with restrooms and hot showers, and laundromat. The outfitter lacks any RV/trailer campsites, but it has been reported that the staff occasionally lets guests with small vans or truck/camper stay overnight in the parking lot.

The outfitter also offers rustic cabins. Each cabin sleeps 2 people, with either a queen bed or single bunk bed. Cabins have heat and air conditioning, and free wifi is available. Restrooms and showers are available in the bathhouse.
