As Annie Dillard wrote, "How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives." Being outdoors feeds my soul, and I moved to Portland twenty years ago to ensure my days are spent outside as much as possible. Seven lifetimes is not enough to explore all that the northwest has to offer.
