A native of Eastern Oregon, Matt grew up in the foothills of the Elkhorn Mountains and spent his summers camping and floating on the Snake River. After graduating from the University of Oregon in 2007, he moved to Portland for a taste of the big city life, and has no plans to leave anytime soon. When he isn't building websites, he spends his free time biking around the city, running in forest park, and enjoying the quiet solitude of his backyard with his wife and cat.
