I'm the kind of person who feels most at home in nature. When I was 16 I strapped on a backpack and left the big city of L.A. looking for mountains, streams, waterfalls, and other people like me. I found them in a meadow in Yosemite and they led me to Oregon, and too many wonderful places to mention. The beauty is, despite the years I've camped, hiked, kayaked and snowshoed, there are still amazing places that I keep discovering. I used to really enjoy a great adrenaline rush. I've run many class 5 rapids in inflatable kayaks and jumped out of airplanes around 200 times. These days I get just as big of a rush when I find new beauty outdoors, photograph it and share it with others. Nature is my church and my religion. It is where I am my most authentic self, and where I am most comfortable just being me. I look forward to meeting new friends, and sharing many outdoor adventures, with Outdoor Project.
