    Andrew Stohner

    Portland, Oregon

Born in southern New Jersey outside of Philadelphia, Andrew moved to Boise, Idaho, where he went to high school and eventually college at The University of Idaho in Moscow, ID. After graduating, he lived and adventured outside in Idaho for a few years before moving to Portland in 2009. Since then, he's been climbing, mountaineering, hiking, biking, and searching for next weekend's big adventure.

Andrew joined the Outdoor Project contributor team in spring of 2013, and has been an active explorer of Oregon, Washington, and Idaho adventures.

    About Us

We believe good things come from people spending time outside. It’s about more than standing on the mountain top. It’s about nourishment and learning. It’s about protecting what sustains us. It’s about building relationships with the outdoors and each other.
