Susan might be seen most in her kayak, but rarely can you find her indoors. Guiding and instructing whitewater kayaking and rafting for twelve years has helped her to become a prominent figure in the paddlesports community. When she's not taking friends on new river adventures or planning multi-day self-support trips, she volunteers her time in conservation efforts with American Whitewater and other local advocacy organizations. You'll also catch her and Wallace - her puppy - out on trails, in local swimming holes, and around Portland Parks.
