Born and raised in the suburbs of Maryland, it took a spontaneous move to LA after college for me to experience the true beauty of our country. On my way out, I fell in love with the wild, natural places of the west. A short detour in a little town called Moab, Utah reversed the course of my life. After denying the path of adventure and outdoor pursuits, I settled in Washington DC and put on a suit and tie. It didn't take many days in that office for me to realize what my purpose in life is: to explore, protect, and advocate for our public lands.
