I moved to Portland, Oregon in 1993 because I wanted to live in a place where I could both have a great job, enjoy the benefits of being near a big city, but also have ready access to the ocean, mountains and rivers. PDX truly has it all!
My particular interest is ultralight backpacking. My base weight is now down to 13 lbs.
