Born along the sleepy shores of Lake Erie in a place where the rivers burn, he moved out west after undergrad and started taking the National Parks by storm. In 2014 he settled in the town of Flagstaff, Arizona. There he currently studies the hydraulics of the mighty Colorado river in pursuit of the title Doctor. On weekends between bouts of pounding on a computer keyboard he climbs, pursues photography, and engages in boating, biking and getting lost in hollows of canyon country.
