Amnicon Falls State Park offers 1.8 miles of trails. Trails are on both sides of the river and include a short trail around the island. In the winter there are 1.5 miles of snowshoeing trails. The park offers many picnic areas that make for a great stop for you and your family to have snack. If you want to make a weekend out of it, there's a campground that includes a playground.

When you arrive, follow the signs for the covered bridge that veer off to the right. This is the park's main attraction and a parking lot is nearby. Once you park you'll be able to see the bridge. Before crossing the bridge, take the trail to the right to a viewpoint below the bridge and waterfall. This is a perfect spot for photographers. Once you have your photo, head back up and cross over the bridge. You are now on an island, and you can follow the loop around, cross over another bridge, and this will lead to the other parking lots. There are other trails off these parking lots, and in the winter are designated snowshoe trails.
