Bingham Falls is a popular stop in the Stowe area, with a twisting, narrow mini gorge, 40-foot tall waterfall, and deep swimming hole at the base of the falls. Due to its proximity to Stowe Mountain Resort, Bingham Falls is well known and often crowded, but it is a beautiful place to stop for a picnic, soak your feet, or go for a swim in the crystal clear water.

From the parking area, visitors will cross the road and begin a short walk down a wooded path. Bearing to the left early will reveal a narrow mini gorge with spectacular polished walls. For a more secluded experience, be sure to explore this part of Bingham Falls, but be careful while swimming. The walls are very slippery, and the power of the current can be deceptive.

Continuing down the path, visitors will reach the top of Bingham Falls first. For the best view, you must continue down a set of steep and narrow stone steps to reach the base of the falls. Here, a deep emerald green pool will provide an invitation for a swim.
