Valley of the Rogue State Park Campground

Valley of the Rogue Campground is a large campground, over 170 sites in all, along the Rogue River in southern Oregon's Interstate 5 corridor.

Fronting a 2-mile stretch of the Rogue River that lies immediately off of the interstate, the campground is made up of several smaller loops, maximixing efficiency, though this leaves almost no privacy between neighboring sites. The campground remains open year round, and it contains a large variety of amenities, including vending machines, firewood for sale, a dump station, showers and laundry facilities, and access to Valley of the Rogue State Park's features such as river access and walking trails.

Containing primarily full hookup sites, there are also a small number of tent-only sites, yurts, and group sites available. There are pull through sites for larger RVs, as well as the majority of sites that can accommodate medium sized RVs.

Lying in the heart of Oregon's gold mining historical area, the campground contains references to its place along the Applegate Trail in covered wagons set throughout the grounds. 

While there is no gas or groceries available at or adjacent to the state park, all amenities can be found in the city of Rogue River located 5 miles north.
