Indian Mary Park is a large and popular campground and day use area along the Rogue River. It is coined as the “centerpiece of the Josephine County Park System” - and rightfully so. In addition to camping, Indian Mary offers many outdoor recreational opportunities including a nine hole disk golf course, half basketball court, volleyball and horseshoes. A boat ramp provides access to the Rogue River for boaters and rafters, and the park is also a great place to bank fish for salmon, steelhead and trout. There is plenty of day use space for picnicking, and there is even a large 200-person shelter that can be reserved for gatherings, weddings, etc.
As far as camping goes, Indian Mary offers 83 different sites. 40 of these campsites are full hookup, 10 are partial hookup (no sewer), and 30 are tent sites with water available. There is one group site and two yurts that are fully furnished with lighting, electricity and heater. There are three restrooms facilities throughout the park, including two that have showers. To round out the list there is also an RV dump station, and firewood and ice are available at the entrance station.
Reservations are available for all sites and facilities by calling Josephine County Parks or visiting the website.
