The Oeste Vista Trail is a nice loop near the Angel Fire Ski area that is popular for hiking, mountain biking and cross-country skiing. Located on a west-facing slope at the base of Agua Fria Peak just off the main highway, this trail offers nice views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains and the surrounding developed village of Angel Fire.

The trail leaves from the parking area across from the golf course entrance and passes through a small meadow before meeting the junction of the loop. Heading right, the route follows the lower trail as it rises gently up to the south end of the loop at a beautiful overlook with a bench and picnic table. Continuing back north along the upper trail, the route has gentle ups and downs with great views of Wheeler Peak to the northwest. The trail loops through a little gulch with a creek before returning to the trailhead.

This trail is on private land and managed by the Angel Fire property owners association, but it is open to the public.
