Boulder Beach Campground is an easily-accessed first-come first-serve only campground located near the western entrance gates to Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
The large campground consists of 148 sites, containing tent-only, car camping, and RV pull through sites. Camp sites are located along several one-way loop roads that navigate through the campground. And while the campground is large, during crowded times there is minimal privacy between neighboring camp sites.
Potable water and flush bathrooms are located throughout the campground, though it should be noted there are no showers at Boulder Beach Campground. Each site contains a table and fire pit.
The campground is adjacent to Boulder Beach and its day use area, which contains numerous covered picnic tables and volleyball nets. While Boulder Beach is restricted for swimming only, nearby Hemenway Beach allows fishing and contains personal watercraft and boat launch facilities, located about a 5 minute drive from the campground.
The campground also contains an RV dump station and amphitheater for campfire presentations by rangers.
Boulder Beach Campground is the largest and most popular campground within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
