Camden Hills State Park is located 2 miles north of Camden, Maine, on Route 1, making it a great location for those looking to hike as well as head into Camden and other nearby towns. The campground has 107 sites ranging in size to serve a small pop-up or tent to sites large enough for a camper larger than 35 feet in length. Forty four of the sites are equipped with water and electric hookups, and the remaining have no hookups. While the majority of sites require a reservation, 22 of the sites are first-come, first-served only. There is one site that is ADA-accessible.

The sites are mostly level and generally feature a gravel/dirt surface. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. There are flush toilets, running water, and showers available. Water spickets can also be found throughout the campground. There is a small playground as well as an RV dump station. Firewood is sold near the entrance of the park for $7 per bundle. Cost for a site without hookups is $25/night for Maine residents ($35 out of state), and a site with water and electric hookups is $35/night ($45 out of state). While camping is available year round, camping in the winter is offered only at a rustic shelter, and no water is available. Reservations in the winter must be made by calling 207.236.0849. There is also a group picnic shelter available by reservation.
