Silver Springs State Park is one of Florida's most well known and popular natural attractions. From the diverse trail system to the springs flowing with crystalline freshwater, there is much to see and explore. The campground offers the perfect home base set up for those who are exploring all the park has to offer.
For a more luxurious stay, there are nine cabins available for rent, each outfitted with two bedrooms, a dining room, kitchen, air conditioning, a screened porch, and an outdoor seating area with a fire pit and grill. The park even provides dishes, pots and pans, linens, and other home comforts! Each cabin is situated in a private, oak-lined space. Rocking chairs are lined along the patio, and on quiet mornings, wildlife sightings are often made right there from the porch! The cost for the cabin is $110 per night, with a two night minimum.
For an experience even closer to nature, the campground also features tent and RV lots. Sites have electric and water hookups, and primitive options exist as well. Picnic tables, grills, and fire rings are also featured at each site, though campers should be aware that there are often burn restrictions to be aware of. Unlike the cabin sites, tent and RV sites are pet friendly, so bring leashes and those furry pals along!
The campground is located near the park's trailheads, as well as the Silver River Museum, education center, and pioneer village. The main spring is only a short drive away with access to paddling adventures, glass bottom boat rides, and a look at many old Florida classics.
