The campground at Trap Pond State Park is located on the opposite side of the pond from the main entrance to the park and consists of five different camping loops. Three loops are equipped with water and electric hookups, one is mainly used for tents and cars, and one is walk-in only. Loops D and E offer the most privacy from other campers.

In addition to the loops mentioned above, the campground is also host to two walk-in island sites and a row of cabins and yurts that are available for rent all year long. The cabins and yurts are equipped with air conditioning and heat, and the cabins come with beds and a small fridge. Animals are not allowed in cabins or yurts.

Within each camping loop there are restrooms, showers, and at least one pier that is useful for fishing or launching a kayak or other small watercraft. Just a few hundred feet away is the Trap Pond public boat ramp.

The campground is located on the opposite shore of the pond from the main entrance to the park, but it has easy access to the trail system, making all areas easily accessible.
