The parking are for this hike is located at the corner of Spring Valley Rd and Walnut Lane in Hardwick township, New Jersey.  At the north side of the parking area is a connector trail that leads to Spring Valley Road.  Corss the road and enter the Ridge and Valley Trail (Blue markers) at the corner of Spring Valley rd and Primrose road.  Follow the trail for .5 miles where the trail splits.  This is the beginning of the loop.

Keep left following the loop in a clockwise direction.  After another .25 miles, White Lake will be in view. After another .75 miles, the trail reaches the northern parking lot and a small beach with a dock and some seating.  Continue on the trail for another two mile.  They is a junction with a green trail.  Taking the Green trail for a longer loop.  The Green trail meets back with the Ridge and Valley Trail.  There is some ruins of a stone building however, this is fenced in and not open to the public. 

When the loop is complete, turn left and return on the same trail to the trailhead parking lot.
