The Red Mesa Rim is a brand new trail network located in Page, Arizona. The trails just opened in July of 2023. There are 10.8 miles of single-track trail here for hikers and mountain bikers to enjoy. The trails are rated green, blue, or black for difficulty with many options to vary your hike.

One of the main pathways is the Red Mesa Loop that is rated green and makes a large circle around the top of the mesa. It is about 2 miles in length, with options to extend.

You’ll begin from the trailhead where there is large parking lot, vault toilet and trash cans. A couple of informative signs show the map of trails here.

The trail follows along the edge of the mesa, a mix of dirt/sand walking with an occasional few steps on slickrock. You’ll have great views as you hike.

The trail is signed well, but also easy to loose in a few spots. There are many options to dive off the main loop onto blue or black rated trails, many of which spend more time on slickrock and look fun.

You’ll have the option to take the Easy Rider Trail out onto a secondary mesa to the east, or just continue on the main loop back to the parking lot and trailhead.
