Brandi Fenton Memorial Park is a 56-acre public park located at 3482 East River Road in the north central area of Tucson, Arizona. The park is open from dawn until 10:00 PM. The park was named in honor of Brandi Fenton. The following text is from the bronze plaque in the Memorial Garden at the park: Brandi Michelle Fenton was a very special young lady whose life was tragically cut short in an automobile accident on March 22, 2003, just prior to her 14th birthday. Her compassion, sense of humor and zest for life were some of the attributes that created such lasting memories and deep friendships. Her free and gentle spirit, like that of the butterflies she loved, will live on through the happiness and beauty derived from this unique community facility.
The park features a variety of amenities, including three lighted soccer fields, two covered full-court basketball courts and one uncovered half-court basketball court, eight ramadas, equestrian arenas, horse shoe pits, two playgrounds with shade structures, a splash park, an off-leash dog park (located on the east side of the park off Dodge Boulevard), walking paths, a memorial garden, exercise stations, and restrooms. In addition to the picnic tables in the ramadas, there are ten more picnic tables, two of which have grills nearby. The splash park is open from the third Saturday in April through October 31st. The splash park hours are 8:00AM to 7:00PM. Many of the facilities at the park, like the ramadas, are reservable.
Brandi Fenton Memorial Park is located along the Rillito River corridor which provides paths for walking, jogging, and biking. A variety of community events are held at the park including concerts, festivals, and holiday celebrations.
Brandi Fenton Memorial Park is a popular destination for community members of the Tucson area given the multitude of recreational opportunities available at the park.
