Davis Camp Campground is a large camping area catering to those looking for dry tent camping to cabin rentals to long term RV spaces inside the historic Davis Camp area.
Set on a stretch of land that was initially developed for those working on the Davis Dam before being converted to a spacious county park area, the campground within the park grounds contains over 150 spots laid out parallel to the banks of the Colorado River in the North and South beach sections. There are numerous dry camping spaces that can accommodate tents and each have covered benches, there are rental cabins available, and there are lines of RV spaces with water and power that remain popular during the summer season amongst campers as well as throughout the winter season with the snowbird crowd.
All dry camping spaces have tables, grills and large pull in spaces. The RV and cabin sections are nearest to the park amenities, which includes basketball court, shaded lawn and boat launch areas, and summer jet ski rentals available from an onsite vendor.
Laundry, a dog park and an RV dump site are all available to campers.
Cabins and RV sites can be reserved ahead of time, while all dry camping spots are available strictly on a first come, first served basis.
Dry camp sites are $20 per night, with rates rising from there for other sites types as well as peak times during summer and holidays.
Reservations and additional campground information can be found here.
