Located near Marble Canyon, Cathedral Wash Trail descends a dry wash amidst tall canyon walls to the Colorado River. This 3-mile out-and-back journey features unique rock formations made of limestone and Toroweap. This popular trail is easily accessible for most people, however, there are some sections that require scrambling and route finding to navigate around dry waterfalls.

This short trek ends at the Colorado River, a perfect location to relax, have a snack, and enjoy the tranquil scene at the Colorado River. It is possible that you will see some rafters floating by as they begin their trip through the Grand Canyon.
