Wildrose Campground is open year round and located in the Panamint Mountains within Death Valley National Park. Wildrose Campground is free of charge and operates on a first come, first serve basis. The campground is located off of Emigrant Canyon Road, a paved road that is accessible by most vehicles, however, you should always check the road conditions prior to your trip.
The sites are primitive and located on gravel and dirt surfaces. Each site has a picnic table and a firepit. The campground has basic amenities such pit toilets and potable water. The water spigots may be turned off in winter depending on the weather so it is important to check with the national park service in advance.

The trail to Telescope Peak is a highlight! Sitting at 11,331 ft of elevation, Telescope Peak is the highest point in Death Valley National Park and a popular trek for hikers, trail runners and backpackers. The 14 mile out and back follows a well maintained single track trail with rewarding views of the valley throughout.
