Ledge Campgrounds

The Ledge Campgrounds are a series of five separate campgrounds and one group campground located up Kane Creek Road, about 30 minutes from downtown Moab. There is plentiful space for camping here. Nearby four-wheel drive, ATV and dirt bike/motorcycle routes are abundant including Hurrah Pass and other OHV routes. Although the sites themselves can accommodate large trailers and RVs, the road to the campgrounds contains several tight and steep switchbacks and is not recommended for vehicles over 22 feet or vehicles pulling long trailers. In addition, Kane Springs Creek flows seasonally across the access road and may prevent some vehicles from reaching Ledge Campgrounds D and E.

105 different campsites are spread out across the five campgrounds named Ledge A, B, C, D and E. Campgrounds A and B are the first you’ll come to and contain the majority of the campsites. Great views of the towering canyon walls and red rock formations are to be had from the campsites. Unfortunately almost all campsites are in the open with little privacy and no shade. Sites contain a picnic table and fire pit with grate. There are vault toilets available but no other amenities and no hookups or water.

There are also two group sites available near the Ledge Campgrounds. These contain ample space for camping and can accommodate groups of 15-30. Each site also has a shade shelter with picnic tables.
