Jetties Beach

Located along the northern part of the Nantucket Sound, Jetties Beach is a great summer destination for families. Jetties Beach is a very large, soft sandy beach, with very calm waters. Lifeguards are on guard to monitor children’s swimming lessons and protect the families that are enjoying the beach. With the calm and crystal-clear water, Jetties beach is great for beginning swimmers as opposed to other more difficult beaches near by.  

Although there is quite a far distance between the parking lot and the ocean, a hard surfaced path is available for easy walking. Jetties Beach also provides wheelchairs for guests to borrow. Sandbar at Jetties Beach, is a bustling restaurant that provides various drinks and foods and that is located right on the beach. Tables, chairs, and restrooms are available within the bar and out on the sand for customers to utilize and enjoy.  

Jetties Beach is a must see for families looking for some summer swim lessons or to just enjoy your time on Nantucket. With the food options and great views, you will definitely want to return.
