The Mount Baker Hot Springs consist of two of all-natural geothermal pools on Mount Baker in Washington. The hot springs are accessed via a quarter-mile singletrack walking path within the woods and marked only by a spray-painted rock that says "hot springs."

These natural springs offer a hot soak in a solitary natural environment. The number of vehicles in the parking area may help you determine the number of visitors in the springs. The pools are enclosed in a tree canopy of softwoods and hardwoods, offering beautiful colors in the autumn season.

The first pool can hold no more than five to 10 people, and the temperatures can run warm to extremely hot, depending on where one soaks within the pool. The natural springs bubble out hot water in a couple of locations. The pool is lined with stones and logs upon which to sit. The second pool is only inches deep, allowing two folks to soak at a time. The pools are generally quiet and serene, enabling meditation in the outdoors.

Clothing seems to be optional. There are no hooks to hang clothing on other than nature's options.

If coming in the winter, the access road may be snowed in. You can still hike in, but it may be over 4 miles each way to reach the hot springs.
