Lisa Falls is a popular waterfall located up Little Cottonwood Canyon in the beautiful Wasatch mountains. The trail is very short, only a quarter-mile round trip, so it is a popular family destination. The waterfall is a dynamic two-tier flat piece of solid granite, definitely not your run-of-the-mill falls. Runoff forms a small creek, although swimming may be prohibited. There are wildflowers, butterflies, and hummingbirds, as well as nice views across Little Cottonwood Canyon. It is a great, easy hike for the family with a lot to see.
A longer trail is accessible by climbing up the side of the falls to a gorge and higher lookouts. This is a bit dangerous; there have been reports of people being hurt here, so be careful. No dogs are allowed.
