Moose Lake State Park

Moose Lake State Park is located just east of Interstate 35 at exit 214 near the city of Moose Lake. The 1,194 acre park was established in 1971. One the highlights of the park is Agate/Geological Interpretive Center that is located within the park office. The center showcases the Lake Superior Agate which is the state gemstone of Minnesota.

The Park has 5 miles of hiking trails and a 2 mile long paved bike trail which provides access the city of Moose Lake and the Willard Munger State trail. There is a swimming beach, boat ramp, and handicap accessible fishing dock at Echo Lake. The 105 acre Echo Lake is known for bass, northerns and panfish. Canoe, kayak, and boat rentals are available. There is a large picnic area near the beach on Echo Lake.

There is a campground at the park with a total of 33 sites, of which 20 have electric hook ups with 30-map service. Two of these sites are wheelchair accessible. In addition, there are two walk-in tents site and one group site.
