The Thimbleberry Nature Trail in Amnicon Falls State Park is a 0.83 mile loop through the forest and by the Amnicon River. There is also a spur trail to an old sandstone quarry. There a number of interpretive signs found along this trail. The trail pretty easy and is great for nearly all ages and abilities.

The closest place to park is by the park office near the campground. The trail starts just across the road to the north. Shortly after beginning your hike, bear right. Here the trail starts with a moderate descent to the Amnicon River. This section of the river is downstream from the waterfalls and is relatively flat. There several spots to get nice views of the river and its high sandstone banks.

About a third of way through the loop there is a short spur trail that leads to an abandoned brownstone quarry. Brownstone was a popular building material in the late 1800s. The quarry is now a pond.

After visiting the quarry, return to the Thimbleberry Trail and turn right. The trail continues through the woods and eventually does a gradual climb back to its starting point.

A map of the trail can be found here.
