While this exceptional island is consistently ranked as one of the top boating destinations in the world, it also features 10 miles of well-maintained hiking trails.

The Sucia Island Hiking Trail System will take you on a tour from the island’s panoramic overlooks to the numerous bays and coves around Sucia Island. From an aerial view, Sucia has the form of a hand with fingers, so following the trail system provides a number of out-and-back options as you travel down the individual spurs. Also, you will have a view to the open water at almost all times. Since you are hiking within a Washington State Marine Park, odds are good that you will see seals, sea lions, and a wide variety of birds .
