Denny Creek campground is a lovely escape from the city. After only an hour’s drive from Seattle you will find yourself under a forest canopy and steps away from trailheads that offer several options for family-friendly, dog-friendly day hikes. A great option for families looking for an easy getaway, the campground is a good base for exploring adventures that offer moderate activity and huge satisfaction, such as the nearby hike to Franklin Falls, or longer hikes like the one to Melakwa Lake Trail.
Denny Creek offers 33 sites, and though most are available for reservation, five are first-come, first-served. Eight sites are pull-through sites with power that are ideal for RVs or trailers, and the rest are car or tent sites that are near water. Four sites are ADA accessible, as are the restrooms. There is one group site. Prices from $20 to $32 depending on your needs, location, and size. The campground host is friendly, helpful, and sells firewood. You can also buy firewood a mile outside of the campground. The Denny Creek Campground restrooms have flushing toilets and running water. The campground is open from May through September.
Great place, but one of my family members became a part of staff and I would really like to see a staff page to view them and show the rest of the family! Please add a staff list thank you!!
